Update on Communist China's Military Threat

Communist China has tested a mobile missile capable of hitting continental U.S. and is preparing to deploy ballistic missile submarines that can do the same. Our Air Force Intelligence Center reports that "China has the most active and diverse ballistic missile development program in the world."

China's navy will begin the first sea patrols next year of a new class of strategic missile submarines, Type 094, each built with 12 missile launch tubes that will hold the recently flight-tested JL-2 ballistic missile, which has a 5,000-mile range.  Investor's Business Daily, 8-14-13

China asked the Obama Administration to loosen controls on exports of high-tech military goods and lift all sanctions. China supplied a detailed list of space, military, and defense technology controls it wants changed. In response to China's outrageous and impudent list of specific demands, Ambassador John Bolton said: "I would make no concessions to China, and I would make it clear that this is a partial repayment for their refusal to hand over Snowden to us."  Washington Free Beacon, 9-18-13

Update on Obama Cutting U.S. Defenses

At the same time that the Chinese military and nuclear missile threats are increasing rapidly, Barack Obama is slashing our defenses against incoming missiles. According to Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL) chairman of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Strategic Forces, Obama has cut $1.16 billion from the U.S. missile defense program — a 10% reduction. Despite growing missile threats from countries that hate us, Obama has reduced our antimissile strength 16%. Our missile defense capabilities have been allowed to atrophy and deteriorate. Our test of Ground Based Interceptors (GBI) on July 5 (the first such test in 5 years) failed.

To placate Moscow, Obama betrayed our allies in Poland and the Czech Republic by abandoning plans to deploy GBIs and missile defense radar there. Other programs canceled by Obama include a missile defense space sensor system, a next-generation Aegis missile, the Airborne Laser, an airborne sensor system, and a next-generation missile defense interceptor vehicle.

Remember that Obama told the Russians he would have more "flexibility" to scuttle our missile defenses after his re-election.  Investor's Business Daily, 8-14-13

Update on Chickens and Fish From China

Chickens raised and slaughtered in China could be on U.S. grocery store shelves a year from now. The USDA notified Communist China in September that four of its processing plants have been cleared to begin processing chickens from the U.S. and then sold back in the American market. Given Communist China's recent history and reputation for food safety, many people are nervous about the prospect of eating chickens that are processed in China and then shipped to the U.S.  Politico, 9-9-13

Free trade is bringing us fish raised in sick rivers in China such as the Yangtze. By the time the fish get to the fish ponds, the water has accumulated raw sewage, agricultural pesticides, and the heavy metal output of poorly regulated industrial plants.

Communist China tops the list of countries with deliberately tainted products. Chinese baby milk killed babies after melamine was deliberately added to conceal the low protein count. Chinese made blood thinner, Heparin, intentionally diluted with a poisonous substance, killed more than 80 Americans.  Wall St. Journal, 9-8-13
