Questions Presidential
Candidates Should Address

What is your plan to deal with the World Trade Organization's decision to impose tremendous penalties to punish us for our laws banning internet gambling because they interfere with free trade in "recreational services"? Are you willing for a foreign tribunal in Geneva to tell us what laws we must repeal? Do you believe that "free trade" requires the United States to submit to the decisions of a body of 150 countries in which we have only the same one vote as Cuba?

Do you believe Congress should make English our official language? Do you believe government agencies and courts should function only in the English language? To become a naturalized U.S. citizen, the law states that the immigrant must demonstrate "the ability to read, write and speak ordinary English," so would you favor abolishing foreign language ballots?

What is your plan to deal with China's organized theft of our intellectual property and counterfeiting of our products (such as music, movies, software, designer clothes, and medicines)? Since our country is able to inspect only 1% or 2% of imported goods, what will you do about the poisons that China has put into its products exported to the United States, such as catfood, seafood, toothpaste, and toys?

Would you sign or veto the Leahy-Berman Patent Act now before the Senate that would radically weaken the U.S. patent system and the rights of independent inventors?

What is your plan to deal with foreign countries' trade discrimination against U.S. workers and products by the racket of pretending to reduce their tariffs, but replacing tariffs with export subsidies and import taxes called the Value Added Tax (VAT)?

What will you do to preserve the legal rights of marriage and married couples?

What will you do to protect parents' rights against the Ninth Circuit Court ruling that parents' right to control the upbringing of their own children "does not extend beyond the threshold of the school door"?

What are your specific plans to enforce the rule of law, stop the entry of illegal aliens, send guest workers and visa holders home after their visas expire, and punish employers who employ illegal aliens?

How fast will you complete building the fence on our southern border that was ordered by the Secure Fence Act of 2006? Will you obey the law overwhelmingly passed by Congress and signed by President Bush to stop the entry of Mexican trucks onto all our roads? Will you pardon Ignatio Ramos and Jose Compean, the Border Guards who are serving 11- and 12-year sentences for intercepting a professional drug smuggler bringing in a van of illegal drugs?

What is your plan to deal with China putting its billion dollars of profits from U.S. trade into military weaponry to threaten, not only Taiwan, but the United States, especially our communications satellites?
